Chicken in tomato sauce with Hilopitaki (small egg noodles) or Orzo

 56 Chicken thighs or drumsticks
 2 cloves garlic
 1 Onion
 ½ cup Iliada Extra Virgin Olive Oil
 1 Bay Leaf
 1 can of Kyknos grated tomatoes
 Salt and pepper to taste
 Hilopitaki (Egg noodles with milk) or Orzo
Optional
 Kefalotyri cheese optional

Preheat your oven on 180 C

Place the chicken in an oven tray and add the grated tomatoes, Garlic, Onion, Olive oil, Bay leaf, salt and pepper.

Cover with water and put the tray in the oven to bake for around one hour.

Once the chicken is almost ready add the small egg noodles (Hilopitaki) or orzo and cook until is ready.

Serve the chicken with the hilopitaki or orzo together and optional sprinkle some grated cheese on top.
