Location: Emily's Greek Kitchen, 866 Beach Road, Waiake, Auckland

Join Emily for a hands-on Greek cooking experience at her private residence in Waiake, where you’ll prepare and enjoy a delicious three-course meal while learning authentic techniques, family recipes, and the traditions behind Greek home cooking. Until we secure a new permanent venue, classes will be held in this welcoming home setting, creating a more personal and intimate experience.

Course One:
Bougiourdi (Bake Feta) – Learn how to prepare this traditional Greek appetiser, packed with fresh flavours and simple techniques that can be recreated at home. 

Course Two:
Chicken Kleftiko – The centrepiece of the class. Discover the ingredients, preparation methods, and cooking secrets that make this dish a favourite in Greek homes.

Course Three:
Portokalopita (Orange cake) – Finish with a classic Greek sweet treat and learn the techniques behind its distinctive flavour and texture.

Just bring yourself and a love of good food. All ingredients and equiptment needed for the class will be provided.

No experience is needed. Emily's classes are relaxed, hands-on, and suitable for beginners as well as confident home cooks.

Yes. After preparing the dishes, you'll sit down and enjoy the meal together.

Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements before booking. We'll do our best to accomodate where possible, but cannot guarantee that allergens will not be present, as classes/events may involve shared ingredients and prepartion areas.

Cancellations must be made at least 3 days before the class/event. Late cancellations and no-shows are not refundable due to ingredient, preparation, and staffing costs.

Yes. If you can't attend, you're welcome to arrange for a friend or family member to take your place.

If a class or event needs to be cancelled or rescheduled due to illness or unforeseeen circumstances, attendees will be contacted and offered a rescheduled class/event or refund.
